Steps to Focusing on You

 

01 — Initial consultation

As part of our initial consultation we discuss your current status in life in one or multiple areas in which you are seeking self-improvement or are simply needing support and encouragement. During the initial consultation we will discuss what kind of goals would be most applicable to your situation whether they be brainstorming how to start an important project or how to reduce the amount of stress in your life.

02 — Overcoming obstacles by identifying strengths

In the second session we discuss the reality of the obstacles you are encountering that may be preventing you from moving forward with ease. We will assess what has and has not been effective for you in the past. This includes any self-limiting beliefs you hold about yourself that could be preventing your personal gifts from shining through. These can be used to explore motivational coping skills which fit your personality and current challenges.

03 — Fine tuning the process

We will discuss how the adjustments you have made to your daily habits have or have not been working for you. This can be used for direction as to whether the way you are approaching your goals needs to change or if the goal itself needs to change to become more attainable. A finished product is better than no product. It is difficult to entirely eliminate stress from our lives but we can choose how to manage it so that the pressures in our lives are pushing us to grow instead of wither.

04 — Visualizing success one step at a time

To wrap-up your investment in life coaching we will discuss what rewards you can include in your routine to keep you motivated towards your short and long-term goals. We will discuss if you are at a point in which life coaching would continue to be a good support to you or if any of the other steps should be revisited for a more lasting effect.
